A concept piece for a new series I'm planning, to show the same place in time periods hundreds of years apart.

This is a combination of painted elements, two 3D models, a ship from an older piece I did but never finished, and an AI background, composited in After Effects and finished in Photoshop. I'm aware some people object to any use of AI, and honestly I sort of wish it hadn't come about, but it's here and it isn't going to go away. I have a number of friends who are pretty high up in VFX and if they're comfortable with it then I'd be stupid not to be. I'm more than happy to say this is mine because the AI element is not the dominant element of the piece and, frankly, as a time-saving tool it might have made the difference between finishing this or not.
