Mira Furlan was like a sister to two very dear friends of mine and her passing this week was sad news indeed. I haven't painted a portrait in 20 years but this seemed like the best reason to try to do a new one. Mira was a wonderful actress, most remembered as Delenn in the entire run of Babylon 5 and as Danielle Rousseau in Lost.
