Totally inspired by Italian visual artist Ul de Rico and his fantasy works, notably his 1978 book The Rainbow Goblins. I remember stumbling across one of his books in the library when I was a kid and it wasn't until 25 years later than I finally found a copy. Heaven. This is part an old oil painting I did when I was a kid, part Photoshop, enhanced with After Effects, and now with very recent developments I've tweaked it with some AI love (not Midjourney, in this case) to generate some chaos elements. I find I'm incorporating AI as a tool for adding energy to images that might otherwise be less alive, and in doing so I find I'm comfortable with it in my workflow.
